Licensed Florida therapists specializing in adolescent mental health for anxiety, depression, trauma, and the pressures of growing up. Most new patients scheduled within 7 days.
Adolescence is hard. But some struggles go beyond normal teenage difficulty. If you are seeing any of this, therapy can help.

Your mind won't turn off, and rest feels impossible.

You're going through the motions but nothing feels right.

Sadness, exhaustion, or loss of interest in things you used to enjoy

Past experiences that still shape how you feel today.

They have stopped spending time with friends or family. They are in their room constantly and seem unreachable.

Grades are dropping. Teachers are flagging concerns. Your teen says they do not care but you know something is wrong.
You know your kid. If your instincts are telling you something is wrong, trust them and get them the support they deserve.
Most teens do not want to talk to another adult who does not get them. Our therapists do. They are trained specifically in adolescent development, which means they know how to build trust with teenagers, not just talk at them.
We work with teens ages 13 to 17 in West Palm Beach and online across Florida. Parents are kept appropriately informed while teens have the privacy they need to open up and do real work.
Our teen therapists are trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based approaches, and trauma-focused therapy. These are the most evidence-based methods for adolescent mental health, adapted to work with how teenagers actually think and process.
Are you often restless, edgy, or irritable? Do intrusive thoughts that project into the future cause a sense of dread or apprehension?
Does your child seem withdrawn, anxious, or persistently sad? Are they having frequent meltdowns, struggling at school.
Are you and your partner struggling? Do you find yourselves caught in the same arguments without resolution?
Do you wake up exhausted even after a full night’s sleep? Does a heavy feeling of sadness or emptiness follow you throughout the day.
At Whole Health Psychological Center, we understand that healing looks different for everyone.
Has a traumatic experience from your past never fully left you? Do you struggle to feel safe in situations?
You make the first call. We will take it from there, including helping your teen feel comfortable before the first session.

Normal teenage behavior includes mood swings, privacy-seeking, and occasional conflict. What warrants therapy is when symptoms are persistent, interfering with school or relationships, or when you are seeing signs of self-harm, extreme withdrawal, or significant personality change. If you are unsure, call us. A brief conversation with our intake team can help you figure out the right next step.
This is one of the most common things parents tell us. A few things help: framing it as a neutral check-in rather than something is wrong with you, letting them have input on the therapist, and starting with a single session with no pressure to continue. Many resistant teens warm up significantly once they are in the room with a therapist who is on their side.
Confidentiality applies to minors with important exceptions. Your teen’s therapist will share information with you if there is a risk of harm to themselves or others. Outside of safety concerns, sessions are kept private, which is what allows teens to open up and do real work. Your therapist will keep you informed about your teen’s general progress and collaborate with you on goals.
We work with adolescents ages 13 to 17. For younger children, we offer child therapy starting at age 5. Ask our intake team about the best fit for your child’s age and needs.
