Hi! My name is Hope Rueter. I am so grateful and proud of you for taking a huge first step in seeking out therapy. I believe every person has the power to change their life and create positive change from within. I am extremely passionate about mental health and the power it holds within our lives.
Here is a little bit about me:
I graduated with my master’s in clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University, a CACREP university. I am a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern in the state of Florida. I have a broad range of past clinical experience ranging from working with younger individuals, to adults and families. I have conducted a variety of group therapy sessions including CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and ACT/AIM (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy). I have also conducted both individual and family therapeutic sessions.
I have personal experience working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, interpersonal challenges, post-traumatic stress, as well as a range of other life challenges. I have a heart for working with individuals who are walking through dark seasons and have personally struggled with anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress myself and am able to empathize and resonate with my clients in that regard.
I personally utilize a broad range of therapeutic modalities that are tailored to my client’s specific needs. I use person-centered therapy to obtain a deeper understanding of my client and their personal perspective on their presenting issues. I also operate from both CBT and DBT lenses, as well as utilize Acceptance and Commitment therapy to create acceptance and generate positive actionable change moving forward.
I believe everyone can change their lives and starting therapy is a huge first step. I am honored to be a part of each person’s healing journey whom I have the pleasure to work with. Reach out to Whole Health Psychological Center and I would love the opportunity to work with you and be a part of your next step forward into the life you deserve.
