Devon Dunn, LMHC, DMFT
Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Dr. Devon Dunn, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She received her Masters in Mental Health Counseling and her Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. At Nova, Devon researched sexuality and did her dissertation on female sexuality. Devon has worked in private practice, substance use disorder treatment centers, and in medical family therapy.
She uses her expertise in family systems therapy and mental health to help clients better understand themselves within their systems (family, friendships, intimate relationships, work, culture). With this awareness, clients learn coping skills for experiences such as neurodivergence, OCD, eating disorders (intuitive eating and body positivity oriented), chronic anxiety, and managing difficult emotions. Devon aligns with positve sex therapy, where she helps people gain insight about their sexuality.
Devon believes that a person is more than their symptoms and strives to understand each individual as a whole person. She helps clients learn skills and attain awareness that allows them to embrace all of life with empathy and compassion. Devon is currently getting CEUs in sex therapy, neurodivergence, and eating disorders.
