Matthew D’Urso is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. He graduated from Lynn University in Boca Raton, receiving an academic achievement award and completing his practicum and internship at the Jerome Golden Center for Behavioral Health, specializing in the treatment of severely and persistently mentally ill clients for over two years. Matthew currently works as a primary therapist at a Substance Use Disorder treatment center, working directly with clients with Substance Use Disorder as well as dual-diagnosed clients presenting with anxiety, depression, anger, and post-traumatic stress. Matthew utilizes evidence-based interventions including Solution-Focused and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
