Giselle Gaviria, Psy.D. is a bilingual (English and Spanish) Postdoctoral Resident. She received her doctoral degree from Albizu University in Miami, Florida and completed her internship training at Citrus Health Network. Giselle specializes in individual, group, and family therapy, assessment, and evaluation. Her areas of expertise include multicultural issues, life-span challenges, substance abuse, depression, and anxiety. She also has extensive experience working with immigrations doing hardship and VAWA evaluations. Giselle is a co-editor of the Handbook of Sex Trafficking and has written numerous articles on topics including trauma, immigration, and intimate partner violence. Her approach to therapy is integrative and empowering as clients take control over their personal life challenges and growth as individuals.
